Chicken BBQ Pizza

Hey !

I guess the time has come to add some recipes to this blog... Let's begin by a classic one: a chicken BBQ pizza Laughing

- 150g pizza dough
- 130g sliced chicken breast
- 4 to 5 tablespoons of sifted tomatoes
- 5 slices of mozzarella
- an handful of peppers
- grated cheese
- spices and herbs
- barbecue sauce, as much as you want !

For the pizza dough, you can either buy one in the supermarket or go for DIY, that's what I did using the breadmaker. Here's what you need for one pizza:

- 1/2 teaspoon of yeast
- 225g of flour (either white or whole, I mixed both)
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 120ml of water
- herbs

1. Cook the chicken !

For this recipe, I choose to use the Hunt's Original BBQ Sauce, because as said on the label, it's Thick And Rich ! This sauce is perfect for cooking, other sauces like the HP Original don't taste as good when heated.

Set the heat to the max and add a tablespoon of barbecue sauce when it turns white.

Let the chicken cook for 2/3 minutes and then keep it apart when it looks tasty like this:

2. Prepare the topping

When your pizza dough is flattened, cover it with the tomatoes (add some herbs to it, it tastes better !), the slices of mozzarella, the chicken... and add some extra barbecue sauce !

Put as much sauce as you want. Then add the peppers, the grated cheese and some pizza spices (you can find them in your supermarket)

3. Put it in the oven at 180° for approximately 20 minutes and here it is !

That's what I call an Yummy Yummy Cooking Jam !
